Your scars looks great! What size where you before? And what size are you now? And do you never have to wear a bra again?

sorry for my questions, but i'm about to get my surgery planned...

hugs,
karin

You look great!! I am 2 1/2wks out from my exchange and you have been such a wonderful part of helping me see what is ahead of me!

I hear you on not being *thrilled* about the implants. We have the same implants...I think mine are 560g. My complaints are somewhat different...some rippling, still a bit too high, not exactly symetrical, one is slightly lower than the other...but at least they will not grow cancer!!

I also hear you on the nipples/bra issue. One of the biggest perks is that I don't have to wear a bra so I am not excited to change that by getting nipples. On the other hand, I have 4 small kiddos and I worry about what they think of my "weird boobs"..their words, not mine!

Anyway, you look wonderful and great news on your cyst.

Hi karin, I don't mind answering any of your questions one bit. I was a 34-36 C before and after I am now about the same. I have about 520gram implants. I never have to wear a bra again its awesome!!

Hey Robyn! It's so great to see you doing so well! Even though we haven't kept in touch, I have followed your journey and am so proud of you for putting yourself out there for others. It's amazing how similar previvor stories can be...I recently found a cyst on my R ovary. I am hoping my final results are as positive as yours turned out to be.

I have completed (almost) nipple reconstruction. The surgery was done at the end of December, but I have an appointment for pigmentation (tattooing) next month. If you'd like to see photos from the surgery (it was disgusting) and/or what they look like now, I'm more than happy to share. They don't look anything like what I imagined.

Anyway...always nice to check in on you! And let me know if you'd like me to send some photos your way. :)

Much Love,
Sarah

I ran into your blog trying to find information on tissue expanders. I was diagnosed with breast cancer on May 17, 2011 and am 3 weeks post op from a BMX with immediate reconstruction with tissue expanders. I have a lograde infection on the left, but was so horribly sick on Monday and Tuesday I wanted to rip out my drains! I had 4 drains (2 on each side) and finally got 1 of them out on Tuesday, but still have 3 in. I am extremely swollen on the side with the infection -- taking additional anti-biotics. I try to keep my visions forward to the future, but this journey is much harder than I expected. I an curious to hear how you are doing now.

BTW, I admire your courage in sharing your photos and story. I am not sure I could be that brave.
